Around where I live THERE IS ALWAYS a goddamn PERPETUAL burn ban and I fucking hate it.
I think it's stupid as fuck. You HAVE to rake, bag, and let the city remove your leaves. Removing leaves from the topsoil robs the ground from nutrients. So then you have to buy NEW topsoil and distribute it around your yard, which the city IS NOT going to pay for even though they are forcing you to deplete your land of nutrition.
