Shot one over the weekend, a 45 long colt converted to 45 acp. for the war.
It was great, the idea that there is such thing a gun type specific ammo is stupid. your acting like your not taking full advantage of the round. in fact some rounds perform better in revolvers simply because of a longer barrel giving it more velocity and the ability to load it hotter without the worry of damaging the gun.

If you already have a 9mm semi pistol, let's say, and you want a revolver - a 9mm revolver makes more sense than a .38 because they're about the same ballistically but you only need one type of ammo.

no, sir 357 out performs 9mm by a fuck ton. same goes for 10mm easliy out done by 44 magnum. Last but not least 50ae is the doo doo on my shoe compared to 500 SW
