Maybe, after the 3rd slamfire in the rifle I should have brought it to a gunsmith along with the spent casings (I did, gun is fine) Then maybe my pistol caught the bug sitting in the safe next to the gun (it has has had ~4k rnds through it, and that has been the only malfunction that occurred at 2.5k rnds), and finally I suppose I should check the floor of the cabelas for loose firing pins.

these lists are meant to troll people - most factory ammunition that is made to SAAMI or CIP specification is fine to use. some ammunition works better in some guns than others, and some applications will dictate the type of bullet and powder charge used.

Their ammo is consistant in quality, low priced at almost steel cased wolf prices, but uses the cleanest looking brass I've ever seen.
Freaking American eagle brand new brass looks scratched to shit and some bullets are seated deeper than others, but PPU is almost perfect in every box, I almost fon't want to shoot it, it looks like gold jewlery.

The hole locks on most modern S&W revolvers.
It's basically a on/off lock for the gun. What was worse is that there were reports of the lock engaging by itself from bigger caliber recoil, which is the complete last thing you want your gun doing on it's own.
Even after all the complaints, S&W continues to include it in their revolvers, probably because all the fudds are clapping very hard for their effort in safety while everyone fails to realize if your fucking kid got their hands on a gun and

Because any fucker knows that there isn't going to be a perfect mass produced ammo all the time on a large scale. Someone somewhere is going to get some bad shit batch unless there isn't any reported catastrophic failures or the acceptable ratio of working vs failures hasn't crossed a certain threshold.
