ITT: Hidden/disguised weapons.

I'm in a country where CCing even a knife is a crime, can /k/ recommend any setups that would pass even if you were frisked or pockets searched? Knife, taser, or other weapon disguised as something else.

Razor blade inside a phone case isn't a bad idea

Except when you go through TSA

Unless you got a Shavette blade that didn't have that same trapezoid shape, just a rectangle I'm sure it may stick out against the circuitry of the phone visible with the X-ray machines, but it may not register with whoever it is what they are looking at. Or put it directly over the battery (as you mentioned).

http://www.wildbillwholesale.com/ciacocoknbl.html
At first glance, this appears to be an ordinary comb. But pull the handle and out comes the black stainless steel knife blade!

Comb and handle are made of high impact plastic, the overall length closed is 6 1/2". Knife blade is black stainless steel, partially serrated. Length of blade is 3 1/4".
>>
>>28879327
While I appreciate the link, the picture itself is not proof that it's not ceramic. Not all ceramic blades are stark white with a straight edge.

black ceramic is ceramic that doesn't change to the color of fucking steel when you sharpen the edge, and isn't something that the manufacturer calls stainless steel.

I did say that I appreciated the link, or did you not read my entire post? I'm arguing that it is impossible to make the distinction between steel and ceramic based solely on the photo. Here is a similar looking black ceramic knife.

If you encased a blade inside of the nearly same material wouldn't it just look like a block on the xray?

You must have no reading comprehension. The link, and the text therein, is completely and totally irrelevant.

Why, you ask? Because of this post: >>28879315 where a person stakes the claim that the blade is steel based *entirely* (because the link had not yet been posted) on the photograph.
>>
>>28879437
>posting literally the only picture where it looks a little similar
the link saying it's a stainless steel blade isn't enough, and the edge being a different color isn't enough? ceramic blades are a uniform color.
>>
>>28879466
you can tell that's steel entirely based on the photograph, yes.
>>
>>28879479
>the link saying it's a stainless steel blade isn't enough
It's not that it's not enough, it's that it's irrelevant to the conversation, because the claim was made before that information was provided.
>and the edge being a different color isn't enough?
Lighting is a factor.

>you can tell that's steel entirely based on the photograph, yes.
No you cannot.

you have no idea how fucking idiotic your argument is.

and no, lighting would affect the edge on the back of the knife and the edge on the front of the knife differently. yet in the original picture, the edge is the same color. ie: the color of fucking stainless steel

It does, look at the picture.

>yet in the original picture, the edge is the same color. ie: the color of fucking stainless steel
You are categorically incorrect. I would add that the color of the edge of a stainless steel knife is generally not dark grey.
>>

>the edge of a stainless steel knife is generally not dark grey

everyone leave, this is like punching the tar baby
>>
>>28879542
Do you deny it? The edge of a stainless steel blade is the same color as the rest of it.

A trait shared by ceramic knives, I might add.

I got one as a present. I keep it on my keychain for trimming stray threads or other small cutting tasks. It's not always practical or socially acceptable to whip out my RAT I for everything.

Basically I use it for the same shit guys use those little victorinox knives for, it just doesn't have anything on it but a knife. And it locks open, which is nice.

Certainly not a concealed weapon, just a convenient way to carry a decent little cutting implement.

>>
>>28880629

Is there a law against flashlights though? If pressed you just say you like having a flashlight that's durable, bright and has a long battery life, if you're out at night there's a legitimate reason for you to have a flashlight like that.

the same reason why "they" carry maglights is why you can also carry maglights. It's just a flashlight bruv

remember to hold it in an overhand grip so you can clock some dindu right in the temple with the aluminum tube full of batteries.

Had a friend who used to be to bounce at a very stereotypical biker bar. If you wanted to know who the baddest sons of bitches were, you'd look for the guys with the maglites. They were always the convicted felons who couldn't carry a gun or knife and they knew how to use one.
>>
>>28879743
Same, sister got it for me. I carried it for a while until I decided it was pointless dead weight. I did like that they at least made it a locking blade.
