Removed many coyotes with this round, many deer and ground hog, I've seen it chew through car doors and mild steel. Look man...it gets the job done.

green tip will pass through, but only the tiny penetrator. 55gr fmj was stopped at 100 yards. The ball peen hammer marks are from my 10.5" 9mm AR @ 50 and 100... and there are a few actual ball peen hammer marks from knocking this drop out of the plate.

Because NATO issues M855 green tip penetrators as the standard round. When the most common 5.56 round in circulation will chew through aluminum, it doesn't make any sense to use aluminum armor.
