Can't find any of the crates of norinco stuff online

>>

China ran out of the surplus 5.56 so you won't see much of it anymore. As for 5.56 or .223, I usually order from Canadaammo
>>
>>28609280
shit guess I'll just go pick it up in the states then
>>

ITAR.
>>
>>28609990
What's ITAR?
>>
>>28609990
this is what I found
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/fs-fd/import-importer-eng.htm

>The Explosives Act sets limits on the amount of ammunition and ammunition components that may be imported without an import permit. Generally, the Explosives Act allows individuals to import up to 5,000 cartridges of non-prohibited ammunition for personal use without an import permit.
>>
>>28610030
>>28610008

It's not the Canadian side that's the issue. It's the American side that doesn't allow export without the paperwork i.e. ITAR the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
>>
>>28610349
This. ITAR also extends to accessories like sights/scopes, magazines, hell, even slings if you go by what some retailers claim.
>>
>>28609046
that is easily the worst idea for a suppressor ive ever seen, just youtube amateur suppressors or something, that thing will fall apart in 1-2 shots if it doesnt explode right off.

>>
>>28610794
Yeah, sucks that the first 6 weeks is going to be ball-shrivelingly cold, but hopefully it starts to warm up around the second half. This winter hasn't been *too* bad so far.

At least battle school will end up falling under the late spring.

Speaking of suppressors, is it the suppressors themselves that are illegal, or is it the act of suppressing that's illegal?

I've heard that a gun can be suppressed by sticking a muzzle in a potato. Could you get arrested for more or less attaching a potato to your gun?
>>
>>28612080
Yup basically.

Prohibited devices
(c) a device or contrivance designed or intended to muffle or stop the sound or report of a firearm,

Just have to show intent to suppress and thats it. RCMP takes this as any device that muffles the report of a firearm at all.

I've only used the EE once, and it was a surprisingly positive experience.

>put up a WTB ad
>get several messages from sellers within hours
>most of them were obviously trying to rip me off
>one guy was very reasonable with his asking price
>e-mail him back and forth for two days
>finally decide that I can trust him
>get EMT set up
>fuck
>my bank only allows me to send up to $1000 a day
>he's okay with this
>end up sending him staggered payments over three days
>least judgmental person I've ever met, and this is the internet we're talking about
Too bad I'll never meet another guy like him.
>>
>>28612239
This has been mostly my experience with the EE, ill keep using it. Why not save the tax shipping and a hundred bucks off on lightly used shit.

I remember when there was that petition circulating around Facebook to keep Canada's "anthym" English.

I think the olympics were on at the time, and they were considering singing Canada's national anthem in Hindi. Obviously, that sounds ridiculous, and the petition's heart was in the right place. The real unfortunate side of it was how it brought all the idiots out of the woodwork. Like, they were right to keep the national anthem in English, but they've articulated themselves really poorly.

Or something like that. At least its not as terrible as the Canada edition JR Carbine.

>>28612376
Yup they started coming in a few months back IIRC
>>
>>28612349
I dunno about you, but I have a soft spot for firearms in non-standard colours.

I'm kind of tired of seeing firearms in nothing but brown, black, grey, tan, and olive green.

I've contemplated buying a "ladies" version of certain firearms, simply because they're pink or purple. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because the way they mark up the prices is absurd.
>>
>>28612502
I know that feel. I've bought some Zombie Green shit on that account. I also bought two pairs of Pink ASP handcuffs during Breast Cancer awareness month a few years back. Had to stop carrying them because random drunk bitches wouldn't stop trying to grab them off my duty belt.

Does anyone know if VZ. 58 magazines will fit in a South African pattern 83 chest rig?

I swear, trying to find any reasonably priced rig/pouch that I know VZ. 58 magazines will fit in is nearly impossible.
>>
Apart from getting a PAL, what does a newbie European to Canada have to do to get a rifle? Basic shooting on a range, building up to hunting, building up to a restricted license.
>>
>>28612888
If you can, apply directly for RPAL, it'll save you time and money. Depending on where you live, you may have access to Crown Land you can shoot NR guns on. Also if you aren't a Canadian Citizen you will need a letter of good standing from your local PD.
>>
>>28612914
>if you aren't a Canadian Citizen you will need a letter of good standing from your local PD.
Nah, just expating it for a few years and living off the old currency, times are good. Does this mean I need to be involved in the local community or just have no police record?

Downtown Toronto, no crown land about. Nothing ab/out/ infact
