So basically, the buttplate slides right off. All one would need to do to convert their evo to an SBR would be to buy the above kit (of which the only thing one would actually need would be the stock and the buttplate, it's my belief that the only reason the other parts are in the kit to begin with is to raise the number of american made parts to meet 922r compliance)
