What is /k/'s next purchase?
>mark 23
Stupid, pointless, overprices. But I like it
>>28420350
Just got a mk23.. I got my eyes set on five seven next equally useless but equally wang
Just bought a Korth PRS for superior Teutonic performance.
>>28420412
How do you like the feel of it compared to a Five seven? I am a slight FN fanboy but holy fuck do I hate the way the five seven feels. Feels like cheap, shitty polymer. Great shooting guns but I just hated the feel
>>28420541
Never held one in my life;_;
>>28420350
>What is /k/'s next purchase?
MDR on pre-order when they start taking them on the 19th for SHOT
>>28420599
Hold one before you buy it, seriously. I will rave about the PS90, FX54t, the new AR series but I seriously hate the feel of the five seven
>>28420604
I have to wonder what the cost and availability of them would be.
IWI was able to relatively keep up with the demand on the Tavor but I forsee the MDR being a Kel-Tec unicorn.
>>28420604
Does anyone still get "MDK" as "murder-death-kill" from Demolition Man, but then whenever shit is "MDR" you think murder death rape? It kinda fits a gun but it makes me look at Sony MDR earphones weird.
>>28420666
They said MSRP will be $2k for the 5.56 and 20% off for Mil/LE, so I'll get it for $1,600 at most, directly from them.
>>28420670
I didn't before, but will from now on. Thanks anon.
Gonna get a Beretta 92, and slap some sexy wood grips on her
Just bought a PSA AR though, so itll be a couple months
>>28420705
>20% off for Mil/LE
And into the trash it goes.
>>28420632
>I seriously hate the feel of the five seven
This, it's like holding 12 grit sand paper, but worse. I suppose you could always wear gloves, get a rubber sleeve, or just sand the grip.
DP-12
cause it's a surprisingly useful silly gun, my friend in CT has one and i fell in love with it.
>>28420778
>useful
in no way is it more useful or practical than a vepr12
>>28420731
>And into the trash it goes.
That's not how that meme works.
You're meme is bad.
You should feel bad.
I held one at a shop last week. It's sweet.
>>28420350
USPc or P30 in 9mm.
>>28420818
Your*
9mm AR with a glock mag receiver.
>>28420817
no, but its certainly more silly than a vepr12, which makes it cool that it is useful at all.
CZ PCR or RAMI, if I ever make up my mind
>>28420817
>No worries about a gas system
>Will feed properly if left loaded for extended periods of time
No need to feel overly proud of your $800 point and shooty
>>28420957
You've obviously never shot a vepr12. I've left my factory 8rd mags loaded for months with low brass and I'll slap them in and they cycle fine
I just ordered a ptr 91, waiting on it to ship.
I'm getting this Russian Makarov on Friday for $225 + a box of .40.
>>28420908
what is that bar above the trigger?
>>28421100
Those are super operator anti-rotarion pins
>>28420350
>What is /k/'s next purchase?
Seriously leaning on one of these for first handgun.
>>28421100
a shitty gimmick that is supposed to stop the pins from rolling, although retards think that the primary function is to stop them from egg holing.
A cheap snubnose. 38/.357 revolver
SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO BUY
I have a five-seven, G23, 92FS, USP9c, and PPS
My current choices are:
P99AS
Steyr C9/L9
Glock 41MOS
Glock 21
M&P 9L Pro MOS
FNX45
USP45 Expert
I have so many 9mm pistols that I'm looking at something meaty like a .45, but I really like the looks of the p99 and Steyrs. If you guys have any great guns that you love, tell me
>>28420739
>>28420412
>>28420541
You're going to have to get used to it
When you pick it up, it feels like an airsoft gun. IT'S NOT. It's really a great gun, and you'll love it, it just takes some getting used to. It's actually great for carry because it's so light; it won't pull your belt down like other guns
>>28420350
>What is /k/'s next purchase?
300 Blackout completed upper receiver, probably going to go with Hardened Arms.
>>28421188
Probably a 4-6" 357... Ruger gp100 is likely.
That new sig rangefinder.
Level 4 plates and carrier.
2 stage match trigger for my recce
For use with suppressor:
Beretta 92 compact
or
92 centurion
Also a desert tech MDR
>>28421197
I vote FNX45 if you want the USP45 expert instead of a tactical.
How do you like the TLR-4? Is it R or G?
>>28420350
>>28420412
Aight you two...
I'm *also* considering a Mark 23.
I have trouble not getting distracted by something else before I get there. Mark 23 was my last goal - got close and then OOH! I want me a P229 Legion!
>>28421313
thanks, im putting away some cash for an Osprey 45 anyway, so it'd probably be a good move
its the red TLR4, and it's pretty great. I like the TLR1 better on the glock, but the 4 feels great on the 92 and the 5-7. only gripe is that I wish there was a little more wattage on the laser, but I probably should have gotten the TLR2G for that.
>>28421318
>P229 legion
I've honestly tried my hardest to like Sigs, but I can't. Maybe if they dropped $400 off their price point
>>28421140
Do it.
>>28421364
>Do it.
Why?
>>28421380
from
>>28421197
>butter smooth slide
>butter smooth trigger
>heavy accurate
>unlimited aftermarket
put aside $120 and get the wilson skeleton hammer, the "D" hammer spring, reduced load trigger spring, low profile safety, and some mec-gar mags
>>28421380
>Decently priced
>Metal>Polymer
>9mm ammo is cheap
>Recoil is amazingly manageable
>Berettas are sexy as fuck
>Decent amount of aftermarket options if you so desire
The only thing I hear that is negative about Beretta 92s are the slide safety and the size, which are both not a problem if you're not a manlet.
>>28420350
Glock 19. Before I bought my AR my collection included a Colt Python, three (original) Ruger Vaqueros in .45 Colt, a Savage 69 RXL Series E 12 gauge, an Ithaca SKB 20 gauge, Henry Golden Boy, an H&R Mod 923 .22 revolver, a Winchester 98 chambered in good old .30-30 and a Ruger P95DC originally purchased during the AWB so I've only got two 10 round magazines for it.
I figure I could use something lighter than the P95 with cheaper mags and an actual aftermarket.
>>28421413
>this shopping list
Oh god..
>>28421429
>not a problem if you're not a manlet.
Definitely not a manlet. I'm like a shorter, less hairy sasquatch.
Next thing I'll buy will probably be my favorite lunch from Inoko Express.
>>28421466
shopping list is only if you want a super operator high speed low fag shooting machine
also get one of these
http://www.hec-computers.com/beretta_sgs_profile_compensator.html
>>28421502
>also get one of these
.. It's not going to be a fucking racegun, man. Jesus christ, I'm hoping to NOT have to slap a shitload of stuff on first handgat
At most I might seek out wood grips for looks.
>>28421318
>>28420541
>>28420412
>>28420350
Do it. They're awesome. And accurate. And flashy.
>>28421593
Holy crap I never realized the Mark 23 was so huge.
>>28421740
it is fuckhueg.
>>28421759
>it is fuckhueg.
Don't be a pussy.
>>28421769
i didn't see that it was a bad thing. i for one would love to have, or at least shoot one once.
How much are mk23s nowadays?
Thinking about picking up a Trijicon MRO.
>inb4 Mario pipes
Yeah it looks a little funky but the function seems right. I especially like the idea of a larger objective, to eliminate the barrel/straw/tube effect of the Aimpoint micro and clones. I'm pretty sure a slight blue tint to the glass won't bother me.
Ruger 1911
Jericho 941 Bebop Tier
>>28420350
One of the following, I really don't know which:
CZ RAMI (no decocker)
Beretta 81 if I can find one, or another little .32acp that doesn't suck
Double-barrelled shotgun for under $400
.44 Magnum revolver with 6" barrel
Pistol AK + NFA stamp and folding stock
>>28420350
BCM upper for whenever my PSA lower ordered a couple days ago gets here.
Hopefully a p226
>>28420350
SKS
>>28420350
gunwise, it'll be a coin toss between a USP 9, M1A, or Hi Power.
>>28420908
Hory shet. Can I have a link to the parts list on that beast?
>>28420350
Remington R1
Gonna keep it with me on my road travels, and I figured it'd be really fun to plink around with.
>>28420350
It is not stupid or pointless. I love mine with a passion.
>>28420350
One of the following:
- Sig Sauer:
A.) P226
B.) P225
C.) P229
D.) P239
E.) P220
F.) P2022
- Walther:
A.) PPQ M1
B.) PPQ M2 5 inch
C.) PPS M2
- Ruger:
A.) SR9C
B.) GP100
C.) SP101 4 inch
- Smith & Wesson:
A.) 686
I'm sure there's more...
>>28421759
good for operating innahouse with suppressor and flashlight
One of those new compact Jericho's with the frame safety. I wish the subcompact was still being imported, they don't have rails.
ruger 10/22
beretta 92fs or browning hi-power for first pistol
then maybe an sks, or a semi auto 12 ga for shooting trap
>>28421740
It's almost as big as a desert eagle if that helps gauge it for you.
>>28420350
SCAR H or Mk 23. SCAR will be kept in stock configuration because I love the way the ugg boot stock looks and feels
>no desert eagle 50
am disappoint senpai

Pls stop baiting
Usp in 9mm as a first handgun. Yay or nay.
>>28424193
Do it. Better than a canik or revolver or whatever these poor asses will recommend, just don't get the LEM.
>>28420350
I've been thinking more and more about getting a CZ. Haven't been able to find any reason not to yet.
>>28424249
Yea fuck it imma do it.
>>28420778
If there weren't any sort of silly machinegun laws, the DP-12 would be truly complete with a "fire both barrels" mode.
>>28424279
Good. Remember the USP was first chambered in 40 then in 9. That means you it's more overnight compared to other 9s and you can use hotter ammo.
>>28424289
Or if it had 2 triggers
>>28424300
*overbuilt
>>28424300
Noted. Thanks brother
>>28420350
Purchase? Probably a 10.5" AR Upper if I can get an SBR approval from the local cops.
Will be applying for a permit to purchase a handgun (MD) and probably buy a Glock 19, but if my LGS has a PPK or a P99 I might not be able to resist the Kraut Space Magic.
I'm thinking about a Uberti Cattleman in .357. I also have heard good thing about Heritage. Love shooting .357 and I want a fun range toy.
>>28424360
Just do yourself a favor and avoid those S&W PPK's. I had nothing but problems with mine and found that when I looked into it more, it's pretty common for them to suck in general.
>>28424392
Fuck, how do I get a nice PPK then? Looking for .380 if I get one.
>>28424193
Yay nigga. USP is the best polymer gun ever (mk23 included).
>>28424407
I'd look around online. I have seen quite a few of the earlier ones listed for good prices. Maybe you'd get lucky with a S&W version...I just know I didn't and many others have had issues with them.
>>28424423
Hopefully soon I'll be able to join you gents in showing off my baby. Unfortunately no one these days is interested in a good old maverick 12g
>>28424505
You can never go wrong with a USP. I'm looking at getting the 45 tactical and compact sometimes here soon. I'm buying a PTR 91 GI next week then might look at more USPs. Make a thread when you get it and after you shoot it. Seems like USP ownership has blown up in the past few months.
>>28424519
Sure thing man will do. Getting my usp will depend on how work goes but hopefully inside the next month
>>28424572
If you haven't already spend extra for the LE model. Comes with night sights and three mags, mags are like $50 a piece.
>>28421822
You should be able to find one less than 2k.
I plan on buying a benelli m4 , scar 17, and a tavor just don't know what I want first
>>28420350
>Useless
Anon, you can bludgeon your enemies when you're out of boolits.
>>28420834
>USPc
>In anything but glorious .45 ACP
bruh...
>>28425738
>USP45c
>getting a USP45 in anything other than fullsize
>implying the USP9c isn't the best CCW
I need a wondernine, and I want full steel.
Leaning to a CZ or clone. I like the Jericho, but I want to feel one before I buy, so far all the LGSs around here don't have any to feel, and of the two ranges near me neither do rentals...
>>28427182
Get a Jericho 941f (frame safety)
>>28420350
There's no reason you shouldn't like the Mark 23, considering how tough the design is...
Cz 2075 Rami 9mm
I like full metal, feels good in my hands and don't think the weight will bother me that much when I CC. I already have a CZ 75B OMEGA and as long as you properly clean and lube it after a few hundred rounds it'll always fire accurately.
