that ".50" has an awfully short and thin barrel compared to an m2 for example, most likely not even a heavy machinegun. but if it is most of the powder will burn outside the barrel and it will be no match to even a fucking technical in firepower mobility and range.

When it comes to ground war, advanced tech does not ensure victory especially against advanced tactics. These exo suits might be able to carry 4 weapons at once but lets see how well they carry them when they're in a pit/on fire/triggering IEDs.

yeah imo these power armor things will not be any advantage in the open vehicle mounted weapons are way more powerful ifv sport 30-40mm autocannons they would rip these exos apart like paper ab bounce everything it can carry in return at least from the front.
now where tanks, ivs and humvees and whatnot can't go is the inside of buildings. inside hardened positions are usually dealt with exlosives but if that compromises the structural integrity of a building it's a nasty asymmetric firefight. this is when powered strongly armored exos can have tactical advantage over regular infantry. but this is the exact setting where they can be baited trapped and ambushed the best if the enemy expects them.
so i don't yet see much point in these exos yet.
