To be honest, the exact mod instructions for the Vulcan pistol have been lost since the original mod creator's page was taken down. However, I do remember how he made it. The barrel was a repainted cheap Halloween axe hilt. He found a viking axe or something with studs that was the correct diameter and had need looking studs, cut it to size, and painted it to match. The pistol grip is from a nerf Maverick, and it was actually fairly easy to chop off the original handle and put it in. The modder said the trigger mechanism was very simple. He created the ammo belt was getting two 25 dart chains and linking them together, creating a 50 chain belt. Lastly, to save weight, he disabled the bolt mechanism, a common modification you can find online. That's all the technical stuff. I can't say much for cosmetic mods; as you can see though, it's pretty much "cut off everything that you don't need."

I play airsoft m80 and these posts are probably the reason why /k/ blasts them. People in the airsoft community can get so uppity about their hobby and even their preferences within the hobby.
Then there's the walters or the people who think they are military because they play airshit, I like the game myself, but I hate some of the people that I see when I go to milsim events in the south of england.
Strategy? It teaches you some basic cqb and hide and seek skills, but after you wave across a small river at the enemy you know you can't hit when you go to your first milsim, you'll wish that these things had the range of real weapons. Being able to see and not engage an enemy at 100 yards is one of the sucky parts of the sport.
Keep airsoft away from /k/, there's too many ex-mil on this board for every thread not to degrade into stolen valour arguments. As the sport heavily rides a thin line at the moment
Not to mention that so many airsoft guns have similar parts to real steel when you delve into gas, threads about airsoft will get confused with real steel and vice versa.
