Do you guys know if shotguns are allowed at public rifle ranges? Like using slugs? Or something else. Just curious

Depends on where you're at. Some places have a shotgun lane for patterning but generally slugs are a no no because they tear up the target backers really fast. Each facility is different so the answer is depends.

If your shotgun is rifled, it's a .75 caliber rifle. Right? Wrong?
A Remington 7600 is considered a rifle, right?

shotguns are allowed at my local range and it is a strict range run by the DNR themselves. I think you have to use slugs though.
one of the ranges near me only let you use slugs, and a different one is slugs/buckshot only. just ask them dude

They're allowed at my local range, but if I'm shooting anything other than slugs I just put the targets on the hill.

others are the exact opposite where you must shoot slugs cause shotguns at 100 yards with buck or bird put holes in everybodys target

It's a shotgun. Still a shotgun. Most indoor ranges and "rifle" ranges I know don't allow shotguns unless they have a clay pigeon area. I don't know of a rifle lane in Kansas where they let you shoot slugs.

Ranges I go to let you shoot slugs in the indoor pistol/rifle range and the outdoor one as well but if I want to shoot shot I have to do it at the shot lanes with steel frame target holders cause they don't want the shot tearing up the normal plastic holders.
