If it's time to bury them, it's time to use them.
On first rumours- fire up the pig scolded and fill it with lanolin. While that is warming up, get the 4" PVC pipe from the shed and cut to length. Glue on end caps than stuff desiccant bags in the bottom.
Take all the semi auto weapons and give them a quick dunk in the hot lanolin, wrap in wax paper and shove into the PVC tubes.
Burry the tube holding weapons in the yard and build a pizza oven on top of them.
Take all unopened boxes of ammo and do the same but without the lanolin.
When the time comes to fight, use the pig scolded to warm up some dieso, dig up the weapons, clean them in the dieso bath, load, join the resistance.

In all honesty though, I would have stood my ground at the door, unarmed, and when a cop grabbed me I would have resisted.
Then I would have been thrown to the ground, assaulted, arrested and possibly shot.
Assuming I survived, it would have been an ongoing legal battle from there.
Unfortunately, the government is staking the stance that if there is a public danger, the searches are okay. That's bullshit IMO, if you're looking for a person on the run. On the other hand, what if they found out credible sources were saying that a nuclear bomb was hidden in a basement of one of those houses and they were searching everyone's house?
Is that a violation of civil rights or the constitution? I don't really think so and this is the analogy that the government would use to rape anyone that resisted those illegal searches.
