oddly enough they perform better than critical duty out of a 3" or less barrel: as they don't need as much speed to fully expand. critical duty is better for fullsize. I'll try to find the youtube link showing the gel, wood and gel, and jeans and gel tests out of a 3" and 5" barreled gun between the two.

Well, the issues being increased blast and recoil. Of course the performance suffers compared to longer barrels. Think of .38spl +p as a more efficient load for snub .357. That's really why 9mm revolvers have merit even if it seems silly to most people.

Compare the Cor Bon 125gr 9mm +p and Cor Bon 125gr .357 at 3". It's only slightly higher velocity, but at the cost of much higher recoil and sound.

I get carrying one mag with FMJ and one with JHP or carrying a shotgun with half buck and half slugs, but you're retarded.
first round in my mag is a fmj, to open a channel in clothing/armor/etc. Second rounds is hp to cause internal would channels. Last round is tracer or rufus round so I know when clip is empty.
Not bad, but there is better out there. It does come with 25 rounds in the 9mm size for the price is good. I'd rather carry HST if it is even only 1% more effective why would you discount that 1%?
