There's rumours floating around, and we probably won't hear the entire story until it gets declassified, but apparently they botched their first deployment to afghan pretty badly

They do VBSS and EMIO shit with NSW, generic aerial and naval insertion, COIN and whatever, but as a whole, they offer nothing that an Army SF group or a NSW vanilla team doesn't. They are overhyped a LOT and used as a recruiting tool and really nothing else. Not to mention MARSOC Marines have literally horrible OPSEC and PERSEC and can't shut the fuck up on instagram and facebook
