What is the difference between an electrician & electrical engineer?

And why are electrical engineers so shit tier when it comes to engineering.

Electricians are more for actually fitting and repairing broken circuits

Electrical Engineers sometimes do that but usually design circuits and have a more advanced understanding of the physics of the circuit.

So, for designing the electrical systems of a building, you call an Electrical Engineer, for actually fitting the systems, you call an electrician.

I was one in the Navy. All you need is an A&P license for most places. For my airline, I needed an FCC GROL as well.

The most important thing though, is experience. Get on with a heavy maintenance facility to get that before even thinking of applying to an airline.

First step for a vet with aviation experience is to make an appointment with an FAA FSDO. After that interview, you may get authorization to simply test out of your A&P license, or one part of it. Either way, you'll know where you stand, and can take only the classes you need at school to complete the license.

Our immigrant types are great. Mostly asians of varying origin. There's one Guatemalan guy who has been my friend for years. Also we're a unionized rarity in our company, so the pay is decent.
>mindless work
Fucking tell me about it though. Until I get into a sticky spot when building my shipments, it's tedious as hell. Singing and or yelling random shit out loud helps with that.

The job isn't the greatest, but the people I work with are the fucking greatest.

I'm still a college student, but I work as an assistant manager at a movie theater. My GM and I are bro tier so we might go shooting pistols once I save up enough cash. He started out as a movie usher and was VP of a theater company before it went under. I'm hoping to do the same as a fallback.

I deliver pizzas
sec let me do quick maths

Last night I made 72$ in tips, working 11-7. 8 hours at 5.00-7.25$ an hour(5.00 when out on delivery, 7.25 when in the store), and I had to spend 7 dollars on gas.
72 + 5 x 8 = 112 - 7 = 105 / 8 = 13.12
70+ dollars in tips a day isn't uncommon working those hours here, so I'd say 13 dollars an hour is a good estimate.

I'm actually saving up to buy my first gun, but I'm not sure what to get yet. I was thinking a cheap bolt action or WASR, depending on how things go

Photo technician at an archiving / scanning company while I finish my master's and get some IT certifications. Basically I take pictures of pictures all day. Usually it's incredibly boring shit like 17th century Americana furniture, but I've also seen a lot of stuff like battalion newspapers from World War One, rail gun diagrams, anything and everything naval from the 17th century up through the 1990's, and various odds and ends from the Korean war, for example. It's a unique job but staring at a monitor and mindlessly doing one simple task for eight hours a day, five days a week can make anything boring. I can't wait to leave.

I'm an applied mathematics major with an emphasis in computational mathematics.

I want to save up when I'm done with college though, and buy a fuckton of CNC machines and etc. it's going to take 10 years or so, so I want to do side projects to build a reputation.

The goal is to make bank, retire early, and then build custom guns for people, and do engraving and shit.

Kind of want to get my Ph.D. Though . . . .
