I did warehouse work for a few years, the pay was alright, but all were dead end jobs. went to college for machining and started a career as a machinest within' two semesters.

Photo technician at an archiving / scanning company while I finish my master's and get some IT certifications. Basically I take pictures of pictures all day. Usually it's incredibly boring shit like 17th century Americana furniture, but I've also seen a lot of stuff like battalion newspapers from World War One, rail gun diagrams, anything and everything naval from the 17th century up through the 1990's, and various odds and ends from the Korean war, for example.
