I recommend making some acetone peroxide and putting it into a pipe bomb.
You'll have to hit it with a rubber mallet a few times to really do the trick, but it's worth it.

I think you could make silver jackets yourself cheaply and easily with a regular bullet mold. Melt some silver in a ladle, heat up the mold, pour in the silver, and turn the mold upside down after a second or so and drain off the silver that hasn't adhered to the mold- then fill the cavity with hard cast lead.
