just bought this baby on an impulse not 30 minutes ago, only 245 freedumcoins after tax. of course im gonna get me a nice wood stock later on.

This was kind of an impulse buy. I've wanted one for a while, but today was the first time I've seen one(there were actually three) at a gun shop.
Unless you're getting a custom or target wood stock, I'd just leave it as polymer.
My 10/22 has the stock wood stock and it looks like shit from being through the ringer.

Also OP, I bought a Boyd's laminate stock for mine. Love it, the thing feels like a pillow.
I want to get an additional stock to swap out when I feel like it, that way I don't have to spend another $500 on a gun + upgrades.

yeah mine is going to be a regular factory stock someone refinished. didnt wanna spend $100+ on a stock for a $250 22. plus im just not a fan of thumbholes.
