Why? I have it tightened down as much as possible
>>28254876
Are you attempting to decap Berdan cases?
>>28254876
I.... I think you're trolling.
Someone loading obsolite, black powder cartridges should fucking know better.
Either that, or you're going to lose your hand/face/dick.

Califag here, ya I vape too
If it's not boxer primed it's going to do that.
The die set it made like that in case you try and decap a berdan so you don't break it.

Shine a light down into that brass.
If you see two holes instead of one in the center, you have Berdan primed brass.

Its not boxer primed, apparently the collet was broke. I swapped the one off of my 9mm die and tightened it down and it worked. This is the first time I have reloaded a rifle or blackpowder round.
>is it possible to compress blackpowder TOO much?
I know it has to be compressed slightly to ignite properly, so I have compressed it maybe a quarter of an inch at most. All of my cases have the correct OAL and correct amount of powder
>ignore the dirtiness in this picture, I had not cleaned off the case lube
>reloading
lol my time is too valuable to waste doing that shit.

found the faggot.

I should also point out it looks like the bullet isnt seated straight in this picture. Thats because the Bertram brass isnt cut 100% straight since this case headspaces on the rim and not the neck it isnt a huge deal. I worry about OAL only.
>>28259403
What bullet is that?
>>28259516
yeah, but you also don't shoot because you're a faggot that thinks it's a waste of time, so who cares?
