Thanks OP, great stuff
context: this was part of a broader comic called Real War Stories produced in the mid 1980s in response to US military recruiters on school campuses and their pamphlets and the very real possibility of Raygun reinstating the draft and invading Central America
(Operation Night-train, look it up)
The other stories were sorta meh, this was without a doubt the best of them

Where were these done? I'm guessing England, but can't rule out Canada.
Comic time?
>>28253531
Alan Moore is English, so probably.
Great posts, OP. The location might change but the lies stay the same.

oh ffs
it is 3am and I am too hot and drunk to wait that long
tl:dr after Brought to Light, Alan Moore adapted the Christic Institutes affidavit against a bunch of Government Operators for the La Penca Bombing into a massive horrifying comic history of the CIA
thank you for posting these

Yes.
There were a lot of problems with that affidavit.
John Stockwell, Frank Snell, Ralph McGehee, David McMichael were all working as researchers and advisers to the Christic Institute, McMichael also helped Nicaragua with their International Court suite against the USA, and would tell Sheehan about problems in it and make a list of corrections and give him a list - and it would come back exactly the same.
As McMichael said they were determined to link them to every crime going right back to Cain slaying Able.

>>28253950
>>28253960
>>28253948
Those guys were all former CIA agents, case officers, and analysis incidentally
Except for McMichael, who has become active again since the Iraq War with VIPS, they all wrote good books about their time and the systematic problems they had.
Stockwell especially with his book about how the CIA just manufactured out of thin air the conflict in Angola
Stockwell also used to appear a lot on the Texas public access tv show alternative views and all their videos are on youtube

>This is not a dream.
>>In 2004 RodrÃguez became President of the Brigade 2506 Veterans Association, a group for Bay of Pigs Invasion survivors.
How sick is that
Postscript:
Edwin Wilson successfully obtained a retrial in in 2003 with a lawyer who was a former CIA officer with classified clearance. They presented numerous documented examples showing the CIA continued to employ Wilson long after his retirement and Taskforce 157 disbandment and they knew what he was doing, and the prosecution in the 1982 trial knew this and suppressed the evidence.
He was acquitted and released and spent his last 9 years a free man.
Frank Terpil is still in Cuba.
>>28254311
i wonder if that visual was also implying a "left hand doesn't know what the right is doing" kinda thing
I have no idea if the October Surprise happened.
But consider this: Where on Earth did Hezbollah get the idea in 1984 they could exchange hostages form arms?
>>28254325
It means they set up deniable independent operations
Like the Cuban exiles in Miami in the 60s
The private firms of Wilson and the banks
The contractors today
>>28254338
oh I get whats being told here, plausible deniability
just wondered if the visuals was deliberate
>>28254317

>I got the goods right here, why dontcha take a closer look at what you're gettin
>While I tell ya what kinda price we're lookin at
>See, we ain't after your money... you're a taxpayer! We already got it! We don't even watcha t'do anything'... in fact, just the opposite. c'mon take a look.
>All we're askin' is your indifference. Just turn away. Pretend it ain't happenin.
>Ain't like ya gotta give up part o' y'self. No important part. Anyway... c'mon... look closer.
>This is not a dream.
>Blum, William - The CIA: A Forgotten History
This has seen been revised as Killing Hope. It is the single best source for every single US foreign intervention overt and covert since WWII. Invasion, police action, support for friendly dictatorship, overthrow of "radical nationalist" to ensure "more favorable investment climate". All here a chapter for each and there are over 50 chapters.
All copiously documented so you can follow each chapter to more detailed works.
I have a pdf if I can upload it somewhere?
>Cockburn, Leslie - Out of Control
This collects Cockburns journalism covering the Reagan gangs crimes as they unfolded so it has an almost realtime quality
>Kwitny, Jonathan - The Crimes of Patriots
Your best source of information about the Nugan Hand Bank outside of Australia.
The Nugan Hand Bank was formed in 1973 by the Australian shyster Frank Nugan and American Green Beret Michael Hand. It rapidly expanded around the world including Vientiane, Chiang Mai.
Many top Army and Air Force Generals and Navy Admirals, CIA officers including former Director William Colby, and Special Forces operatives were employed in the bank.
What they lacked in financial and legal experience they made up for with guerrilla warfare, military logistics, and intelligence operations.
tl;dr it laundered the money the CIA made running the Golden Triangle and paid off everyone involved. Also laundered for Khun Sa, the Marcos family, and crooks in Oz.

>McCoy, Alfred W. - The Politics of Heroin
It has since been extensively updated with new chapters on Nugan Hand, Contra cocaine, Afghan heroin, and the War on Drugs.
It is the definitive source for CIA narcotrafficking. It is all here from the French Connection to the Golden Triangle to beyond.

>Bob Parry: Lost History
Parry, along with Brian Barger, broke Iran Contra in the American press. This book collects and expands on his journalism.
He was increasingly marginalized in the press from that point (and his editor at AP was sharing information with a certain Marine colonel), today he is pretty much persona non grata. His website Consortium News is quite good.
