NATO is just a forefront of American military industrial complex in Europe. US wouldn't leave it until alliance is completely discredited or if America is the last man standing.

BAE, Dassault, KMW, and several others. Europe has enough defense suppliers in it to serve the remaining of Nato states. They don't need US defense contractors for it.
