As someone who owns both a g19 and a p01, I can tell you that the g19 has a much less comfortable grip. The p01 hasa tthicker grip, but the different shape makes it easier to grip.

Double action means your trigger pull will pull the hammer back and release it.
Single means your trigger pull only releases the hammer.
But even with or without bitch hands, go to a gun store and hold some damn weapons to get a feel for what fits well and what doesn't. It's the only actual way to see what you feel comfortable with and what is too big/small for you.

my hands are just barely a glove size medium, and skinny (small palms) and a full size like a CZ 75B has a full inch or over hanging out the bottom of the grip which looks ridiculous, reaching the trigger was never an issue in double action though
was one of the main reasons i went for a P226 over a P228

I was in that situation and yes I went with the glock 19 gen 4 instead.
Before I went to the LGS I was all excited over the cz75 memeing but as soon as I put it in my hands I hated how it felt. It honestly felt oversized even though I do have large hands (I play piano and can reach easily over an octave). g19 is comfy box that shoots bullets

I've got tiny little bitch hands and I can still operate the mag release and slide release easily. Cocking the hammer one handrd takes some effort, but I've got it down to where it's not difficult.

Mostly the trigger. Sights are nice too but a good trigger job on a 75B is about 4-600 so that's pretty much most of it.
I just measured my P01 and SP01 grips and the P01 is 3cm shorter from front to back, width is identical, length is approx 8cm longer depending how you measure. Not significantly different. Pic related. My 75Bs are identical to the SP01.
