I think X-Files production team had someone who knew his stuff as a advisor for weapon and military related scenes, there is the occasional goofy moments but in many cases like apartment raids and scenes with military or government spooks are very well done and there is attention to detail.

Finding out if it is an IED or not for your entire patrol allows you all to not babysit the site for hours. The entire time you are a damn near stationary target for every bored asshole in the city (outside of rolling trucks back & forth).
Hit three IEDs in my only tour, last one got me MedEvac'd to Germany, and medically retired.
You find some, and some will eventually find you. If you don't accept that, you'll be paralyzed with fear to the point of being useless.

They did 29 Touch and Go and 21 Full landings followed by take-off
The idea was to test if the C-130 was suitable for mid sea resupply, with a full payload they had a 460ft landing run and a 735ft takeoff
The final test the C-130 came to a full stop before crossing the parallel from the island, then the pilot took off without rolling back to the end of the deck, on RTB the pilot found his plane had been Graffiti'd on deck with a sign that read "LOOK MA! NO HOOK!"
