That Taurus 24/7
I want to see how well I can shoot without pulling the trigger at all on that peice of shit.

it'll be hilariously bad. Thinking targets at 1 m, 5m, 10, and 25m

A Tec-9 is an obvious choice. That insane rate of fire is enough to make anybody want to shoot it
>>
>>28076164
I have a VP70Z. Yes, the trigger pull is long and hard, but if you shoot it enough, you'll know when it breaks. Purchased solely as a one-upper to my Glock bearing friends.
>>
>>28076164

I would love to get a hi point just for the lulz. Take it to the range and practice all the tactical fads with it and act really serious.

very manageable dream there

I actually have a VP70 civilian version. The trigger is terrible, but I love the look, and that it's Leon's gun from Resident Evil 2.

can be fun to ride but you wouldn't want to be seen on one

I suppose, but it would be a waste for me. I would probably get it, put a few hundred through it, then give to a pal as a gag gift.

Can you imagine owning a gun that you give absolutely no fucks about?
>oops it fell of the range table
>again
>>
>>28076287
I have a friend whose father has one. Almost got to shoot it but we forgot the ammo for it when we took it to the range. Maybe next time.
>>
>>28076554

I can't not give a fuck about my guns. I bought a bolt action shotgun for 80 bucks, and even thought I have to secure it to the stock with hose clamps, I take good care of it.

It came with a longer barrel but it was noticeably shortened, so I finished it up to 18 inches. Used a nail and a hoseclamp for a bead, but that loosened up after shooting a while. The bolt through the stock is there because because without it the gun will jam itself back into the stock and lock up the action from shooting.

No matter how much money you spend on accessories, you still have a low to mid quality rifle.

>>28076783
basically this, and with the cash he dumped into it he would have been better off with a model 700 or some other new produced bolt gun
>>
>>28076888
My thoughts exactly. I love shooting my Mosin, but I still recognize that it's a mid quality rifle, and I see no point in trying to play Pimp my Rooty Tooty Point and Shooty with it.

I have a chinkshit 870 that I beat around the house with. Its my "edc" when I'm at home. I've spilled food on it and knocked it over plenty of times. Practiced painting on it as well. I think I cleaned it once

>>28078347
If they imported a civilian legal model I'd buy it
>>
>>28076287
If you want a decent one, look into the AA Arms AP-9
>>
>>28076164
i thought that was a hi-point for a second, i dont know how anyone can think the VP70 looks good
>>
>>28076480
That's the only reason I want one too.

Don't know if it justifies the price tag....

Even though they aren't really "all around terrible" (at least in my opinion), I doubt anybody would ever choose a flintlock for self defense unless it's literally the only type of gun available to them. That's not to say I'm not interested in buying one at some point, but it would just be an interesting conversation piece, and possibly a fun range toy.

>>
>>28085611
Yeah it's a Gewehr 41 (M). Germany wanted a semiautomatic rifle to improve combat efficiency. The rifle would have been fine if it weren't for the awful standards.

>No holes for tapping gas for the loading mechanism were to be bored into the barrel

>The rifles were not to have any moving parts on the surface

>In case the auto-loading mechanism failed, a bolt action was to be included.

While Walther made a somewhat functional rifle, Mauser not so much.
