I know that most of you have seen the double barrel 1911 by Arsenal Firearms (pictured) but i'm wondering why they haven't made a 9mm or .22lr model. I wouldn't carry a .22 if I had a choice but a double barrel .22? What do you guys think?

>dual wield
>cease giving a fuck
Just to keep things moving i'll post pictures of other double barrel pistols :l

I saw these today and was wondering how that trigger configuration felt.
It looks like they are parallel, which seems awkward, or are they disjointed like a double barrel shotgun's triggers?
>>28069934
Two round burst?
>>28070710
Then why have two triggers? Or are you implying that there is only one trigger maybe?
>>28069934
They're linked
>>28070751
So it is indeed 2 round burst?
Is it a normal sized trigger than, or double wide like everything else on that gun? Because I would think double wide would feel awkward.
>>28070760
No, burst implies one after the other. Both rounds fire simultaneously.
Two normal sized triggers linked.
>>28070760
seems normal to me with this pic.

>i don't feel safe having to shoot someone twice with a .22
>i do feel safe shooting someone once with two .22

It's two triggers, pulling either one trips both sears. They get away with this with the grey volley gun area.
Who has the uncle Jerry .webm? Seeing two .45s hit a plate at the same time in slow mo is fucking sweet.
What does a double-barreled pistol actually do?
I mean, how or why would you use it?
Is it just for the "wow" factor?
>>28070824
I wasn't the only one thinking this? Ok, I feel better.

Lets put the size of these in perspective.
>>28070783
they are NOT linked on the civilian versions, the trigger are independent, otherwise the firearm is considered a machinegun (yes they do make one that has a linked trigger, but again, it's calssified as a MACHINEGUN)
also, burst does NOT mean one after another, it means a set amount of bullet per any single trigger pull you fucking retard.
>>28072985
.22lr would be a bit more than half the size of that. Win/Win in my book.
>>28070718
Two triggers is probably to help avoid the ATF from fucking their assholes
They've argued in court more than once that "If it fires more than one bullet per pull of the trigger, it's a machine gun", when the witness on the stand asked "So my grand fathers double barrel shotgun would be a machine gun then?" they simply restated what they had said.
Two triggers? It's 100% two semi-automatic trigger pulls. No complication there, no dogs will be shot.

Dont bother with a .22, i got shot with a .22 when i was 17, had quite a few beers in me, went through the inside of my thigh, i was angry enough I went to fuck the dude up, then deal with my leg.
>>28073061
Maybe if he was smart and mag dumped you wouldn't be here making stupid posts.
>>28073061
that's a neat story that didn't happen, anon.
>>28069468
yeah, because carrying something wide as fuck and incredibly difficult to conceal without printing with the power of a .22 is ideal. Why would firing 2 .22lrs at the same time somehow make the gun good for carrying all of the sudden?
