Don't have any problem carrying in my normal clothes. I am disappointed that ArcTeryx discontinued their half zip Alpha SV shell however. It had full length side zippers, so I could just leave the left side of mine undone a few inches.
Unfortunately mine has a giant tear in it after catching on a nail when I wore it doing some work on my deck in the rain... slipped, slid over the edge (only a few feet off the ground) and over the exposed nails from the board I had pried off when replacing a section of the railing
