Why are most reproductions of guns expensive as all fuck?
>semi auto Colt 1918 BAR
>$8,799
Who the hell is actually going to pay for that?
Are there any reproductions that don't cost an arm and a leg?

It has Colt stamped on it so you know somewhere Cleetus and Bubba are saving their Social Security checks they get from "workplace injuries" to buy it.
Colt has a fetish of making low production special editions and trying to sell them at retarded prices.

>high demand
>small supply
Oh, I don't know

I think repro M1 Carbines can be cheap, but they might be shit quality.

>artificial scarcity >>28065178
dont worry stg 44's are coming for 1800

Sadly this, Ohio Ord makes them for colt. For Ohio stamp it's around 5k, still pricy. Yes Colt wants 3grand for a label, ok...the box is pretty.

This
Universal m1 carbines usually cost less than a decent AR or AK for a reason
>>28064977
you sound poor.
>>28066298
Nah, just not stupid.
I could buy like 5 better rifles for the price of one repro BAR.

Its not even a proper repro, its just a mock up really. M1918s fired from an open bolt which is illegal today so the action has to be totally different.

I never noticed that before, that stinks. I wonder if they even bother putting a dummy selector switch in.
