I've just heard that some of the US police wants to adopt russian Osa (Oca) non-lethal pistol.
What do you guys think about it and how to you treat traumatic weapons in general?

For what I know, bullets that for civillian sale in Russia are metal, just coated with rubber. Pre-ban ammunition was quite effective, but then they reduced the powder load and now they kinda suck.
I don't know which ammo they will be using in the US tho

Fun fact about the Flash Ball : the balls it shoots are actually toy rubber balls that were repurposed.
The range I went to always had some laying around from the cops training.
Guys from the shooting club built a fucking black powder canon shooting those, unfortunately I never got to see it in action.
train cops better, make sure they have a spine, give them small riot shields and tonfas, teach them to use bolas, train them to use sasumatas, make killing suspects by the police always end up in courts, make beating suspects always end up in courts if they took more damage than bruising.
