If you have a cabelas nearby they keep 303 Brit made by herters in stock for about $.75 a round. If no cabelas, order online. Like 8mm mauser, its a sadly underappreciated round here in the US

1. Yeah, I paid 180$ CAD for mine. It wasn't sporterized, it was just missing parts.

2. If you are going to restore it, hit up Liberty Tree Collectors online.

3. Restoring it will cost you at least 200$ Just looking at the picture, you'll need bottom stock, and the top two handguards.

4. Once restored, complete Enfields are only worth 400$ CAD anyways unless yours is somehow special, which I doubt, since it was sporterized.

5. Why is the end of the barrel so blackened as compared to the rest?
