>She Loves .22LR and is damn accurate with them
>Can't find any ammo
>Be me - Owns more .22lr guns than rounds (not really but we're scarce)

What do? She doesn't like recoil. Get a nice semi auto .177 air rifle?
>>
>>27948599
Tell her to stop being a pussy.
>>
Ar15 has little recoil. If she can't handle .223 out of an AR, then a slingshot or something I guess
>>
>>27948625
This or .17hmr
>>
Currently waiting on parts to ship to build AR15
>>
>>27948636
Yeah get one of those cheap savage .17s. They are supposed to be better for varmints and just as good for plinking as .22s
>>
>>27948668
>buying overpriced 22
Wha?
>>
Literally order ammo on the internet you fucking scrub
>>
>>27948673
It's .22 that's there. Friendo
>>
>>27948684
You new here?
>>
>>27948690
No I was here all summer

Honestly though, I've only seen .22 consistently on shelves in my area recently and .17 has been maybe a dollar or two more for 50 rounds
>>
>>27948710
Yeah, you're new here and can't into reading greentext.
>>
>>27948727
If you say so
>>
>>27948733
I know so.
>>
>>27948769
OP asked for an alternative to .22, says he can't find .22. Someone suggested .17

I agreed that it was an option and I've heard good things about it.

Yes very new

Get a nugget and a tokarev insert.

Find rifle that fires 22sr. Found a guy that sold me 8000 rounds for 30 bucks when everyone was panic buying because he didn't know the difference between sr and lr.
>>
>>27948784
Yes, seeing as you're so confused you don't even know what I'm talking about lol.
>>
>>27948599
Get a 17 hmr. I have had great experience with them, lots more power, better range and accuracy than 22lr. You can find ammo much more consistently and the danger of ricochet is lower than with 22lr. It might cost a bit more but it is worth it for the performance gain and ammo availability. Savage actually makes a very nice accurate bolt action one with a stock similar to the one in your picture.

>>27948888

Third for .17hmr Savage 93r17 or CZ 455 whatever model floats her boat.
>>
>>27948894
I know.
>>
Buy her a .223/5.56 carbine. The ammo is relatively cheap, diverse and plentiful. If she can't/won't handle the "recoil" of .223, it's not worth wasting time on.
>>
>>27948940
Yes
>>
>>27948946
Yup.
>>
Get an AR15. 16" guns are easy to manage.

20" with a muzzle brake is essentially a .22LR.

Way to spread the /k/ gospel bro. Tell me, are you an anti gun troll or just an elitist fuck?
I love 5.56, but the lout blast and concussion, as well as the "scary" appearance of "Assault" type rifles can be a bit intimidating for first time noguns shooters, especially women and kids. A 17 is a great way to start. The tiny bullets and low noise have almost zero intimidation factor, and are unlikely to cause flinching. The high degree of accuracy is also likely to build confidence as well.
>>
>>27949091
Are you retarded? He said she shoots .22 all the time. Why post if you haven't read, are you perhaps the troll?
>>
>>27949118
Everyone is the troll in this thread. It isn't hard to think of a .17, an AR, or a pistol caliber carbine as a low-recoil plinking gun. Every post in this thread is shitposting

>Way to spread the /k/ gospel bro. Tell me, are you an anti gun troll or just an elitist fuck?

Just a practical person.

>the loud blast and concussion

What are you talking about? As long as she's wearing hearing protection, and not shooting an 11.5" sbr, she'll be fine.

>the "scary" appearance of "Assault" type rifles can be a bit intimidating for first time noguns shooters, especially women and kids.

Oh, give me a fucking break. The gun is too scary looking to shoot? Once you experience shooting an AR, it's appearance isn't relevant. If someone insists on staying with someone who's petrified at the sight of an AR, just buy mini-14 with wood furniture or something.

>A 17 is a great way to start.

Agreed, but she clearly started some time ago.

>The tiny bullets and low noise have almost zero intimidation factor, and are unlikely to cause flinching.

Agreed, but that's irrelevant at this point.

>The high degree of accuracy is also likely to build confidence as well.

Agreed, but she's already accurate with a .22.

Call me whatever you want, no one should have trouble handling and enjoying .223 unless they're a very young child or wracked with arthritis.

shoots .22lr and .22 mag(with a cylinder swap)

>>27951034
He got quads earlier but I didn't say anything.

>She doesn't like recoil
>cant handle anything above 22.lr
dude just get her a fucking slingshot
>>
>>27948599

Brought my GF to the range not long ago, the first gun she ever shot was my 92FS, first bullet she ever fired was perfectly centered and about three inches below the X at 7yds.

After she fired a mag out of that she stepped up to my G21SF.

She is 5'2" so not a big girl but still fired the .45 like a champ.

She is afraid to shoot my AR though I told her it has barely any recoil. Its hard for her to hold it and shoulder it cause her big boobs get in the way apparently, and she has short girly arms.

I have to have her practice holding it more.

9mm would work too...
