Having early-onset RA, it is extremely difficult to cycle compared to a Mauser or Enfield of the same era. I'd like to buy one soon, but I don't see myself shooting it often.

I bought a K31 online, had it shipped to a FFL who does transfers out of his garage as a side business, paid him 20 bucks, did all the paperwork and got the gun after the lame 10 day waiting period.
So again, annoying but not as bad as you seem to think it is.
