>>
>>27924988

>>
>>27925043
Thats for storage you dingy.
>>
>>27924988
BOE T-9 is best
>>
>>27925043
Not a lubricant.
>>
>>27925019
What type of transmission fluid should I use? My car uses 75W 90 or something or another, should i use that.
>>
>>27924988

Just use White lithium grease.
>>
>>27925138
Use Mobil 1 oil
>>
>>27925305
The guide says not to.
>>
I have some Mastercraft EP Moly grease that I bought for some unknown reason a few years ago, and I've used it exclusively on my Glock and it's worked great. No function issues at all, it stays put through hundreds of rounds, and it cleans up very easily.

Only downside is that it smells like utter shit, like crude oil, but I don't sit around sniffing my gun so it doesn't matter much.

>>27925138
>literally lubing your gun with ATF
>>
>>27925345
Its not that bad, and its better than motor oil.

I think I am just giong to get this>>27925038

Lubriplate’s FMO-AW oil (specifically the 350-AW weight.)
>>
CLP
>>
>>27925404
Thats a Spray though.
>>
Silver Bullet Gun Oil. It is indeed the very best of the best out there.
>>
>>27925370
I use Lubriplate exclusively on all of my semi-auto handguns (Sigs, Glocks, 1911s, Rugers, bolt actions, and m1a.
>>
or you could be fucking normal and use CLP like a fucking human being
>>
Mil-Comm TW-25B
>>
>>27925717
Yeah thats what I use now, and after a month my guns are bone dry.

20w-50 works really well and its super cheap, $4 for 1 quart.
>>
>>27925404
>>27925713
Yeah, is this shit the same as ballistol? I am looking for a grease, not Oil.
>>
Frog lube is one of the best as far as protecting from corrosion goes... Also makes things super easy to clean..
Too bad it sucks horribly as a lubricant
>>
>>27925740
I would use 5W-30 desu because thats what my car uses. Though i hear its bad for your skin, so its a no go for my pistols.
>>
>>27925735
Are you spraying it on in a half assed manner or actually taking the time to do it right? Also on what guns? Before I got into grease for storage I just used some CLP and gave all the internals on my AR an even coating by rubbing it on with my finger and its worked fine. Even after a couple months its still properly lubed up.
>>
>>27925770
negative, used oil out of a car has carcinogens witch is bad for you, unused synthetic oil straight out of the bottle has no effect on your health if its just on your skin.
i have been a mechanic for over 5 years and have motor oil on my hands pretty much all the time. its really not that big of a deal. shit i met guys who been working on cars for 20+ years who are fine.

>Are you spraying it on in a half assed manner or actually taking the time to do it right?

I apply it pretty liberally actually but with patch.

>Also on what guns?

Pistols.
>>
>>27925038
I also use lubriplate SFL-0. Came pretty highly reviewed, makes my slides run smoother than any lubricant I've used to date.
>>
>>27925854
Thanks for an actual product name, I will look into this.
>>
>>27925891
the weird thing is that Lubriplate SFL-0 isn't actually a gun grease, it's a food safe grease for industrial food manufacturing machines. It just happens to work really well for guns as well. They also make a mil-spec grease that costs the same amount for things that call for mil-spec grease and nothing else.
>>
>>27925909
Is that the hunting grease?
>>
>>27926213
>hunting grease
Yes, the 130-A Hunting Grease is also a Mil-Spec M14 and M1 grease.

Certified: Absolutely Halal.
>>
Use tool box buddy. It's great.
>>
Here is a picture. ..
>>
>>27925850
Try just wiping it on with your finger, it'll give you a more even coating where a patch will absord/retain a lot of the clp. A patch is good if you're shooting it that day and plan on cleaning it, but for storage its always best in my expieriences to be more genourous with the clp. Either way I've since switched over to hoppes gun grease which doesn't run and has functioned flawlessly thus far.

I just dunk my glock in desil then 40wt engine oil, and give it a quick shake to get off the excess. Usualy it's some type of castrol oil. Works goos enough.
>>
Ask ur mum what she uses in her twat.
>>
>>27926738
KY personal lubricant is a popular choice.

I'm a pharmacist.
>>
Is bike chain grease good? I've been using it on my pistol slides and I think it's working well.
>>
in the army we used synthetic grease mixed with white spirit
