Out of boredom. I just wanted to start an EDC thread. I like to look American EDC sets because they include guns. If you guys have your older sets please post them. It's fun to see how gear and people evolve. I just took pictures of my old ALICE and LBV-E sets so I can compare them later to my new MOLLE gear. It's just something that I like to do. I photograph a lot. I have at least 10 pics of every car that I have owned.

Why do people post edc without a gun on /k/? Knife could be argued but 99% of the knives in an edc are tools not weapons. Is it just because poorfags and underageb& wanna show off what's in their pockets?

About two months now. The leather has softened up nicely, and I can barely tell it's there.
My only complaint is that I didn't take into account the "Suspenders Effect" that they produce on my pants - the holster drags my pants up a bit, making them look a bit funky. Not a huge issue, but for folks looking at shoulder holsters, consider buying pants a size longer than usual.

Only carried two extra magazines today but carried three yesterday. Pepper spray/teargas front right pocket with keys while wallet is carried awkwardly in front left.

It is a Hogue grip I got off of amazon. If you use 7rd mag, all three fingers will stay on grip, but if using 6rd mag, your pinkey will hang off, just like on the Glock 26.
Not pictured are my shoulder rig and extra mags because they wouldn't fit on the tiny table. Other than that rate?

Depending on the county, it's either stupidly hard to get one or piss easy. For example, in Tuolumne county where I live you take one night class, get interviewed by the Sheriff, and assuming you're only 40% batshit, you'll receive your permit.
Monterey County, where I work, is more convoluted:

>Interview with Sheriff at station
>Take CCW class, more money
>Qualify with weapon (30 shots on target at 7 yards, lol)
>Take psychological exam (thankfully not necessary here soon, we actually complained enough that they're nixing it next year), loads a moneh
>Sheriff comes to your home for an interview, inspects storage of firearms
>Sheriff speaks to your neighbors about your mental state
Assuming you pass all of those events (and you can be failed at any time on a whim), you'll get your permit after a period of time around 3-6 months.

Flashlight sounds a little goofy. I've got a dedi flashlight. If that poops out I'll use my phone.
Two knives sorta makes sense if you want more utility like a swiss army knife, or a big knife for defense and small knife for utility.

The real use in pepper spray is bashing the empty steel can into the skull of your irritated victim, it's supposed to give you an edge while you beat two or three teenage redguards without having to shoot the honor students. Saves on legal fees.
Tried CCing my cz52 in my modified Makarov alieun gear holster today.
It hides well enough and generally held in place. Just by the end of the day the 2 pounds of pistol started over come my belt and friction. Was in public places all day too. So I couldn't exactly hike up a huge pistol and cinch the belt down another notch.
I need a better belt or maybe just suspenders.
