They become one if you mate a short barrel to a stocked receiver. They become a AOW if you mate a short barrel to a pistol receiver.

That's because those are technically .45LC pistols that happen to also chamber and fire .410 shells.
They have rifled barrels so they're just pistols.
A 12ga that short is an AOW.
