What do you think?

Hey guys, I think the Tu-4 might be influenced by the B-29!

>tfw Swedes will no longer report Russian vessels in our archipelago due to them looking the same as our own
The perfect camo
Not enough gun or explosives.
>>27907062
Pretty similar looking
>>27907062
>>27908661
How much costs one of these?
>>27908683
No idea about the Russian one. The CB 90 I believe costs between 2.5 and 3.5 milion dollars, but this is not according to official sources so don't take my word for it.
Its like how everyone's planned stealth fighters just copy the F22
>>27908661
No guns? What sort of patrol boat is that?
Also the US has two of these babies which are pimped the fuck out
>>27907062
That's because (like many others) they are a clone of it. It's nothing new really.
>>27908763
Not sure, I know a vast majority have guns available as seen in >>27908752
Perhaps it's simply used for transportation in exercises, or perhaps the low budget the Swedish Armed Forces gets means it's not viable to have them all with guns at all times.
>>27908683
According to the website soldf which has a bunch of info about swedish war material they were bought for ca 5,500,000 SEK per ship. There are some that have been sold off for civilian use, no idea what that would go for.
>>27908802
Surely that's just the boat without taking equipment into account?
>>27908756
>why do all modern mass-produced cars look similar?
>maybe because there is an optimal shape...............
Just because some things looks similar, does not mean they are copies.
>>27908823
No idea. I would guess it at least includes the nav system but they use different radar and comm system for the different models so that might not be part of the cost, there are command versions of it etc. Weapons are likely not included in the cost.
These aren't particularly well armored except for the upgraded armored versions with NBC protenction and other fancy features, so that probably cuts costs.
>>27907062
New? You best be joking, the news are like a couple years old. It is a well known fact that these boats are the same, even Russian wiki page for it has a link to CB90. I only can't recall if we just stole them or if it was some design purchase.
>>27908763
There are some versions with twin automatic 120mm AMOS mortar.
And I've seen some equipped with Hellfire missiles or 25mm autocanon, not to mention the usual AGLs and HMGs.
>>27907062
They are copies of CB90, and its old news.
>>27908802
Would one of these be a good shtf boat?
>>27908763
You can see the turret ring in the picture.
>>27908763
Usually the boat will have 2 dual mounted deuces in the front and one in the back. Could also be supplemented with the heavy gl. Some can fire hellfire missiles, but generally, they are made to transport soldiers and as landing crafts.
A cb90h will take 18 soldiers+equipment plus the crew of course, and can do 6g turns at 40 knots. They are pretty baller.

besides the mini-gun, the others look like something straight out of star wars

No, that price would be for the boat only, and even then it sounds very low. Maybe the price quoted is from the 90s.
Armor and systems are made by other people, so are the guns and mounts, so it would be strange it that was included.
>>27908766
What does the us use them for?
>>27909757
Patrol.
>>27909757
River patrols and as a fast assault craft.
