Believe it or not, you can buy a conversion kit for the SL8 that makes it look and handle just like an XM8 with pretty solid accuracy. With HK releasing the HK293, I imagine it'll be a pretty popular option.

Local gun shop had a couple for sale a few years back.
They were really expensive compared to your average ar15 though and aside from the location of the charging handle, I didn't really see the difference, practically speaking that is.
