Oh fuck yeah a Semi Auto RPK-74M
>5.56
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT
Are these rare in the US? From what I understand Molot isn't banned in the US.
>any russian gun on gunbroker or any listing
>SKS AK47 AKM AK74 KRINKOV MOSIN NAGANT
Yeah rpk74m's are pretty fucking rare/expensive
Arsenal used to make them but they had 45 degree gas blocks for some fuck fuck reason
>>27785756
Rare, not really, expensive, hell yes. And I don't think such baby killing weapons will make it into the US...
>>27786007
Is there such thing as an RPKM?
They were a limited run iirc and that is why they're so expensive.
One anon (vzbro I know you're out there somewhere) here has one.
http://www.arsenalinc.com/usa/SA_RPK-3R.html
Looks like they fucked up with a fixed stock.
>>27786142
Any 5.45x39 ones are were they all 5.56?
>>27786188
I'm not sure. His is 5.56.
>>27785756
Atlantic firearms claimed they could order those from Molot in batches of 500 that would then have to be converted like Arsenal SLR 104FRs, but won't.
>>27786007
What's the difference between gas blocks with different angles?
>>27786560
Supposedly 45 degree bad, 90 degree good. Something about reliability and erosion and all that Shiite
>>27786142
>vzbro I know you're out there somewhere
Reporting, it was a long night. I'm SO glad I got one though. It's by far the closest thing that exists to a legit rpk-74, folder stock and everything. I'm definitely monitoring that auction to see what it goes for.
>>27786188
If there was a 545 version, I'd probably have that instead. But preferably both calibers because it's a nice rifle for 556. I'd been looking for an excuse to get into 556 for a while and found it.

>>27787893
yup, definitely can't afford that
>>27787893
Welp, time to sell a kidney.
>I can still drink bourbon with one, right?
>>27787985
Yeah man, you're thinking of the liver anyway. Take it easy on carbonated drinks though.
>>27788048
>the kidneys are affected by alcohol use though
Now to find a buyer.
>WTS One (1) slightly abused kidney, still works great, $10k OBO
>>27787893
Fuck
Are there or had there ever been any rpk74 kits available?
>>27786128
to my knowledge no, since the rpk is already stamped so it would be redundant. I don't know much about rpk's
>>27786560
supposedly you get minor bullet shearing with 45 degree gas blocks with 5.45 so that's why they switched to 90. I may of made a mistake since basically every picture of rpk74m's have 45 degree gas blocks instead of 90's. Weird but it's there
>>27786128
Yes.
>from
http://world.guns.ru/machine/rus/kalashnikov-rpk-e.html
>Also, for export purposes, Russia produces 7,62mm RPKM light machine guns, which use same polymer furniture as RPK-74M but chambered for old 7,62x39 ammunition

Zastava makes em. My local gun store had one a year ago. Stock, bipod, everything.
Was only like 900 dollars too.
