And especially, what about the .45 ACP version?

It's decent, and Springfield has dealt with some previous QC/CS issues. It is overpriced for what it does. Grip safeties are fuck-tarded. If it fits your paws well, then don't feel bad if you get one. If you want a different glock clone, you have plenty of options.
Used one for "Work" pistol as i was security and i broke my Hi-Power :(
Every time i shot it it had a klanking sound.
But it held and that's the point.

I had an XDM 45 and it was pretty ok, I shot it a lot better without the mag extension. I had no issues with it though.
