What scope would be good.
Looking for variable from about 3 to about 12+ magnification.
Price range is $500-1,000 but isn't strict.

I currently have a 3-24x shared between my SCAR and SR-25, would recommend.

Another great choice especially if you want that HSLD factor and illumination. The turrets are meh though compared to the C model's.

The SCAR has a reputation for bashing optics to death with its heavy bolt carrier moving back and forth. Either buy a quality optic, or be prepared to buy multiple cheap ones when they stop holding zero. Buy once, cry once. You have a top tier .308 rifle, treat yourself to a good scope.
