With the current market of sks', if the wood stock was still on it like your post implied it'd probably be worth more than $300, considering the shape of the wood.

when i picked mine up from gander mountain about 2 years ago (1953 tula,i got it sent there because FFL) the guy that was helping me get the 4470 and serial shit done was telling me about how he had an sks before that he put a synthetick stock set and he modified the butt stock and made it collapsible and threw away the "crappy" bayonet.
