You know for "NO GUNZ" the country

Japan is doing a bang up job of education it's population on firearms ( even if it is through the use of cute girls )

shows like Upotte! that airsoft show Girls und Panzer etc.

Do you think if shows like this came out in the west with the same type of info, history and safety the outlook on firearms in the US would change?

Either they are (not so) secretly training the population to a future army. But then this argument can be neglected due to the fact that not every kid/teen/adult watch anime just as not every single person in any other country watches cartoons.

Second, its cartoons, even tho they might be informative it.

Hey /k/, I has question. What is the deal between between double action only handguns, and what are the major differences or factors involving hammers vs strikers. I legit don't get this still since I am a no-fun newfag who only has a nugget
35 posts and 11 images submitted.
>>
Double action only is a heavy trigger pull that cocks the hammer back and releases it with each trigger pull. Double action/single action has a lighter trigger pull for single action, which is what every shot will be after the first, because the slide coming back, on a semi-auto pistol anyway, will cock the hammer back.

Hammer fired guns can be cocked and locked, such as how 1911's are carried, if their user wants to carry with the safety on. Striker fired pistols, such as Glocks, have an internal striker that is half-cocked when you're carrying it. Pulling the trigger finishes pulling the striker back, then releases it. Striker fired pistols can only be shot once without the slide going back, unlike DA or DA/SA pistols, which you can typically pull the trigger on again without having to rack the slide.

Recently I bought a 1943 Lee Enfield rifle that someone had spray painted in camo.

Today I started the restoration process, cleaning some metal fittings with acetone and brake cleaner. and scrubbing with a toothbrush.

What surprised me was the shininess of the metal. Is this caused by the blueing wearing off over time or the acetone removing the patina?

Pic related. The fittings in the top left are the ones I cleaned paint off of.

Isn't it beautiful? over 3200 markers now! /k/ommandos everywhere!

https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=772301

It didn't get this way by itself. This map only exists because YOU add the markers.

You can add yourself (at least ZIP/email), your favorite funstores, innawoods spots, ranges, and more!

I'll post the instructions in the next post. If you have any questions, ask me here or email me.
