Are things leading up to it again? Or is it just a old boogeyman?
In short...when if ever?
The more likely scenario is a gradual grinding down of civilization as inflation, reduced agricultural yields, groundwater depletion, higher energy costs, and other problems begin to harm the average person.

Hey /k/
I kinda want a fudd rifle for durr huntan, and to dip my feet in the water of long range-ish shooting.
As far as hunting goes, I live in a very mountainous region so I'd be very lucky to get a shot over 200 yards. As far as general long-range shooting, I'm limited to about the same distance.
My LGS carries the Savage Axis II in about every caliber for $399 with a $50 factory rebate. Comes with a mid-tier scope (from what I can figure out) and walmart-tier rings, which the guy at the LGS said he's switch out for free if I bought new rings.

Thanks.
I was thinking either .308 or .270 really, since .30-06 is usually better for longer ranges than what I have access to.
But from looking on their website, it also comes in .223? Maybe I should look into that instead, since it's basically the most popular cartridge in America today?
>>27905650
Depends on state laws. Some states say that .223 isn't big enough for deer, so the minimum could be .243.
What kind of knife is this?

Somehow I don't think reloading is something you'll be good at.
Well, anon, does your gun say .460 rowland or .460 S&W on the side?

Im looking for the info.
I need the manuals.
Fuck the other Red Dot threads on here, on is a retard who wants one for $100, the other is a moron who can't decide between a Bushnell TRS25 and an XPS2-0

I have always been intrigued by Trijicons reflex sights. However, I have never seen one in the wild. The dual solar/batter illumination on the SRS has also been a point of interest to me (I don't know if it is 1000 dollars interesting...

Can't go wrong with Trijicon. But honestly the Aimpoint Comp M4 using a AA battery and up to 8 year battery life makes the idea of dual illumination a moot point.
>>27905339
Trijicon self illuminated are quite hard to pick up in daylight
>>27905544
You can go wrong with Trijicon because both the SRS and MRO suffer from problems where the circuitry is reflected under certain lighting conditions which creates a glare around the red dot. It's worse on the SRS and on the MRO it's noted to happen if you are standing in shade or darkness and a light source comes from behind you. Shit is unacceptable for the price you pay for them

This is what the wikipedia in Spanish says the advantages of revolvers over semi autos are:
Easier to use
Possibility of using more powerful rounds (like magnum or .223 remington)
More precise
Jamming is rare
They don't have a button to extract the rounds so you can't extract the rounds by accident
Is this true? Are revolvers more precise and accurate than semi autos?
>easier to use
no
>more powerful rounds
it's still coming from a handgun length barrel, differences in handgun ballistics are negligible
>more precise
no, you suck
>jamming is rare
light primer strikes can happen, if debris gets into the cylinder it can jam and if it isn't timed correctly will KB in your hands
>they don't have a button to extract rounds
yes they do
bunch of cod faggots
>.223
>revolver
What?
And to answer your question, differences in accuracy are negligible. Brand and QC make a thousand times more difference.
>>27904991
Sorry it says a button to extract the magazine... I typed it wrong.
Well it is obvious that revolvers don't have one
