Close, but not really at all actually. She and two other girls (later on more) formed a dance group called Danceroid, where they made furitsuke for and danced to vocaloid songs. I have two of their DVDs somewhere around here...
Anyway, if you watch their LOL video, you can see that whoever's producing them or whatever is not strict at all. Probably because it's low budget niche stuff?
