Just watched Burning Meiling for the first time and I LOVED it,episode 5 may be my favorite episode out of all.The way Meiling tries her best to keep her promise to Flan,knowing that she stands no chance ;_;
What do you expect to see in Episode 6 Part 2?

What I don't love is how Meiling went to Myouren to train. That doesn't make sense. The only physical fighters there use clouds or oodles of self-enhancement magic. Nobody there can teach her anything.

She didn't go there per se, she ended up there.
Also, shou is an avatar of a god of war, not to mention a literal tiger. She knows how to fight on some level.
As for byakuren, while her magic is self enhancement type, her skill in using it is also pretty high as well. Its not like she's incapable of fighting without it, she just has no reason not to use it. Even more so when meilings opponent is so naturally rigged as an oni. If anything, byakuren is probably the best choice of sparring partner, considering build and power.
