As in only using one symbol for it?
Why not use google translate? You do know that magma is a word that exists in both laguages, right? It might be 岩漿 in japanese. But you only gain one character...

On that note, 硫 is sulfur, and it might be a convoluted stretch to make that apply, but a single kanji for an element might be the only way you can do this.

Use the MGM Lion symbol.
Would 溶 be enough. I know that lava and magma aren't exactly the same thing but depending on your setting, 溶岩 could suffice.
