The only thing Japan did right was ZR.
In terms of womens clothing, the other asians beat them. Vietnamese have cuter hats, and Chinese have the cuter dress.
Th vietnamese dress is cute too. I honestly never saw the appeal of the kimono or yukata.

Do you honestly believe it can compete with the ao dai or cheongsam?

>I think you're being contrarian.
No, I'm being honest. The other clothing shows of a womans form better, while keeping her modest. It's also much simpler than the kimono (the girl could actually dress herself). It looks great, and I dont mind the monochrome colours, it jsut makes it look nicer when they have colours, like ribbons on their hats.
>Looking at the image, I definitely prefer the colorful styles in kimono/yukata.
You shouldnt assume all of them are like that from one image.
>>
>>15170811
This is not a recent trend. It has been going on for about 30-odd years. Hakama used to be worn to school by female students, hence their adaptation as a graduation uniform. Once they are adults, they wear a one-piece furisode kimono at seijin no hi ceremonies across the country to celebrate being the age of majority. Of course they want to look nice and honor their traditions at the same time.

Kyoto University has people wear cosplay to their graduation ceremony if that interests you guys, but my friends elsewhere looked beautiful when they completed their degree.
>>
>>15171494
was it necessary to bring that up?
im viet and yes i understand you guys like those dresses

I did the same at my College Graduation, only it was period-correct Edwardian western attire from the early years of the Taisho period circa 1910-1911. It was the same outfit my great grandfather wore to his; 100 years to the day.

Why does /jp/ have so many crossdressers.
If you are female please explain to me, why do women wear/like high heels?
I'm a man, and such impractical things confuse me. Just buy normal boots.

>>15174660

Please dont tell me you have a child and are raising her to be a huge weeb, it's like you want them to be cringeworthy and autistic. Or is that blonde hair just a wig by some cosplaying jap. I hope it's a wig.
>>
>>15174977
>Why does /jp/ have so many crossdressers.
Cute clothes are cute.

Lack of female contact makes your average lonely /jp/sie settle with the next best thing: Their clothes because that's the only way they can "feel" close to them. By "becoming" them.

>If you are female please explain to me, why do women wear/like high heels?
From what I know, most people don't like to wear them. But they make the figure, ass look sexier. Also, to appear more tall. So in short: To appear more attractive.

>Just buy normal boots.
I actually was looking for ones without heel.

Women are retarded then. This is just fake tits 2.0, where women do something they think makes them more attractive, but it makes them look worse.
Shorter girls are cuter. It's also not attractive when a woman is a burden because she cant walk properly.
On the bright side it's going to generate more manlet tears.
>I actually was looking for ones without heel.
So regular boots? Like military ones or something?
Not sure where you live, but there are generally army surplus stores in various countries, failing that just look at places selling goth gear. Goths were big on boots, and even ahve their own military goth sub culture. (They look fucking retarded.)

Try "knee high lace up boots" or "tall lace up boots". These are hot but you'll have to be tall and slim to pull the look off. Otherwise you'll look stumpy.
>>
>>15175032
>>15175001
>To appear more attractive
i have to clarify this: most women wear heels to be taller. it also makes your legs look nicer.

walking in heels is not difficult if you have good shoes and you're used to it. being taller is nice so you can actually reach things.

there are exceptions, but this is generally the case.
>>
>>15175151
I always laugh whenever I'm out and see a woman on super tall high heels who's stumbling every 3 steps and clearly doesn't know how to walk in those shoes.
>>
>>15175172

If it wasnt difficult then why do so many bints hurt themselves walking?
You also cant walk on certain ground wearing them, as the pressure on the heel goes through dirt easily.

High heels are shit. Also I'm a patrician aka tomboy lover.
>>
>>15175268
>If it wasnt difficult then why do so many bints hurt themselves walking?
People are stupid. More at eleven.

He also mentioned a keypoint, as long as you are used to them. Not his fault that dumb bimbos think that starting with "5 high heels while never having worn any in their life before is a good idea.

Although to be fair, accidents do happen. People trip even while wearing normal flat shoes.

>You also cant walk on certain ground wearing them, as the pressure on the heel goes through dirt easily.
Fair enough point. That's why you aren't meant to wear high heels nilly willy 24/7 everywhere you go. There's footwear for every occasion.
>>
>>15175268
they're obviously inexperienced or wearing shoes inappropriately. indeed you're right though heels are not suitable for certain environments, like gravel. but all shoes have their good and bad points.

i have nothing for or against heels, i'm just stating the facts.
