All she has going for her is she is extremely hard working. Yukari needs to admit responsability for Ran being so screwed up. Ran isnt dumb or anything, it's jsut Yukari was a horrrible, horrible mother/master/mentor. How can she act suprised that Ran thinks so roboticly, when she keeps drilling this idea into her that she is just a machine. Yukari treated her like a robot, then is unsatisfied when Ran acts like a fucking robot.
Even when Ran breaks this cycle, Yukari disciplines her for stepping out of line.
