The best part about doing those 2 years in the same school is most schools also run a prefect program, which basically means the seniors help the juniors to integrate in to school and help organize activities, which introduces them to some adult concepts before they leave.
It is optional, mind you.
You can just straight up leave like a normal pleb and go to WcDonalds or something.
On a personal note, it was actually our year in those 2 senior years that introduced Japanese-like after-school clubs.
It started off with just a handful of us in Computing class, with the help of a cool student teacher.
Then it spread across the floor to Maths and Admin, then up to languages, then up still to the social subjects and by then it spread across the whole school.
We did so much for that school.
Now half of it is a pile of dust and the other locked down because bats live in it now.
ALL FOR NOTHING. ALL YOUR EFFORTS ARE FOR NOTHING.

Yeah, Skins was a pretty cool series.
I actually really miss school. It was pretty eventful in a good way.
The work we put in to getting people interested in their learning was great.
We changed that school completely in the years we were there, not just when we were seniors.
Grades all over increased quite dramatically when we got people interested in after school clubs to do homework and such.
I was quite amazed myself just how well things improved.
Then a few years after we had left, the school was closed because of some silly shit, like leaky gas pipes that would be easy to fix, and "asbestos" in the ceiling of a room I spent 2 years in and know for a fact there was none since I had been up there. It was in the self-study room we reappropriated since it was only being used to store the assembly room chairs. (at the front of the school entrance at that! it looked awful)
We told them how it would just be far easier and look neat to just store the chairs at the back of the hall in small stacks.
And damn did it look much better than the old boring wall when it was covered by chairs, and it was much easier when we were stacking the chairs back up after assemblies.
School was perfectly fine and the leaky pipes were one building that wouldn't have even hit a million to replace the entire thing.
So much work gone. Shit was depressing.
Even more so because during my final years exams, I developed pretty severe autoimmune so felt shit on top of being almost literally shit with the amount of pooping I was doing. Fucking Crohns.
A new school has been built since then, and 2 more are being done this summer. At £25 million cost too!
Mind you, it does look really fucking nice, almost what we were attempting to do in our school.
I look forward to seeing them finished. It has flexible self-study rooms and combined study rooms to occasionally combine some objects together that share topics, such as physics and maths for applied maths concepts, computing and art for graphics design and stuff like that.
