How do you watch japanese TV, /jp/? I've been looking for decent streams for some background noise but I can't find any decent ones.
The closest thing i've been to watching Japanese TV is J-League soccer on the official J-League website where they offer you a subscription to watcj streaming J-League games live.
many years ago I tried it out, I was able to watch JP news on a stream using TVAnts. I watched them talk about Michael Jackson's death which was still very fresh news at the time.
I'd be up for getting something like that set up again, so I'm gonna bump and follow this thread.
My local japanese supermarket's foodcourt has TVs that play jpn tv, only problem is that there is no volume and you have to read the japanese subtitles.

I miss having a local JP supermarket, haven't been there since I moved back to my hometown after graduating.

The streams are laggy as fuck, at least for me

that's probably why vaughnlive is selling VIP accounts with priority viewing

This one is a bit laggy but still much better than the others.

but can't work with Firefox and Adblock Plus activated
watching directly on vaughn, like this:

it seems more easy to clean up (9 filters were already working, I've just added a couple)
I want one

Strange, did you use the menu at the top left. It has a list of all channels available

Any mediaplayer (VLC/Mpv/Mplayer/Xine/MythTV/Kodi etc.) + japanese_channel_stream_list.m3u
or KeyHoleTV.
