Japanese robes look nice but are total nerd shit to get into detail about as they have all these autistic rules and names. The smaller yukata and whatnot types are cute. The full multiple layer ones are just kinda retarded.
They also look like they were specifically created to be hard to walk in. Short skirted modern type ones are amazing though. They also look good when combined with lolita style fashion.

There were many higher than a middle-age women who wore kimono as everyday wear until the 1960's. And There were many women had a kimono as street clothes until the 1970's. And now kimono is the most gorgeous type of formal dress that can be worn in festivals and in other formal scenes. I wish women in a kimono increase as street clothes at least.
