I just started a new char and the ID wizard at vernis has cursed gear that summons monsters. This has been getting me splatted to hell and back, but the last wave spawned in a fire hound, which proceeded to burn the town to the ground. This had the effect of torching the cursed gear that caused all of this, and as a consolation prize, I now have cards and figures for all the uniques in town as well as pic related.
And now I'm off to the forest to dig out clovers and grind for materials to make shoes edible.

A bad parameter for a temporary institution around Yowyn was causing the game to crash, so this has been fixed. If the land had shifted already when you played in 1.52, the facilities would already be gone and this error wouldn't happen. A land shift is guaranteed to happen upon updating to 1.53.

After watching this speedrun (http://www.speedrun.com/Elona_-_The_Eternal_League_of_Nefia#Anything_goes1), which was about an hour, I've come up with this plan for speedrunning:
Game settings
Set running after to 1 steps, walk speed to 1 wait, and attack interval to 1 wait
Gene file
Monster balls containing allies of your choice. At least one ally should be good for riding
Gear for you. Should boost your HP, protect from curses, protect from thieves, keep you from being stranded, and increase traveling speed.
Gear for pets
Deeds of heirship
Blue capsule drags
50+ blessed potions of descent
Potions of cure corruption
Potions of healer (Jure)
50 scrolls of return
Blessed scrolls of vanish curse
Scrolls of holy light
Lots of hero cheese
Rations
Cursed food
Happy bed
Cold proof and fire proof blankets
Char gen
Race: Something tanky
Class: Warrior
Feats: Ascetic, Kokou, Long distance runner
Guide
1. Quaff all of your potions of descent. Eat hero cheese. Eat cursed food to vomit to get hungry. Get additional feats if desired.
2. Go to the embassy to buy a deed of heirship and deed of shack. Place the shack right above Palmia. Use the deed of heirship to get your other deeds of heirship. Read the deeds of heirship to get everything listed above.
3. Go to your shack and get your items. Use the monster balls. Leave happy bed.
4. Go to Yowyn and learn Detection and Riding from the trainer. Use your skill points to raise detection and riding.
5. Proceed with main quest as normal. Read scrolls of return to quickly get home. Sleep in happy bed or king's bed in Palmia. Equip useful precious items dropped by bosses (Rankis, etc.).
Detection is incredibly important for seeing the hidden passages in dungeons. Without Detection, you are forced to mine, which is extremely slow. The blessed potions of descent give you the skill points to level up Detection. Riding lets you keep up with your pets but is optional. Coupled with hero cheese, the potions of descent also make you very tanky and keep you from wasting time dying. You could consider bringing teleport scrolls and reading them to find the stairs in the dungeons quicker, but this separates you from your pets.
I believe it's possible to beat the game in sub 30 minutes with this strategy. Anyone have suggestions?

You could use teleportation instead of detection, as detection is still kinda time consuming and chancy when you dont have a high level of it. Dimensional move, short teleport, or teleport, or rods, which are pretty abundant.
I think you can skip alot of the hero cheese, and instead run a piece of gear with alot of constitution artifact fusioned onto it, same goes for speed. in fact artifact fusion everything and use living weapons

I don't know what statistics in the game actually causes the sleepy state to occur, but I think it may be related to stamina. As I noticed on my game the more actions I used that burnt through the most stamina (e.g. ensemble, houzanha, sex) rendering my character tired or very tired more often, than resting up until full, would usually cause the sleepy state to occur more frequently.

The problem I have with both lists in general is how you account for the chaos fort bosses. Those guys are usually harder than the story bosses for their portion of the world. Then you take the gods and they're much much harder than anything the story or the chaos forts have. The list also needs to answer whether this is for people just doing the story or is the list a completionist list where you conquer everything. Also, how do we account for the void? Is there a bottom floor to that place or does it truly go on forever? If it does go on forever wouldn't the things in there eventually become even more scarier than the gods themselves?

In terms of raw stats, yea they are kinda scary, but they tend to max out after a certain point, at 2000 to all stats. And they generally don't have any abilities that destroy you quite like some of the inner gods. That being said, I guess there kind of is an upper limit to how difficult the game can get.

Do a bunch of quests in Palmia that have a separate city map, like Panic! or Challenge Quests
There should be an empty altar to convert every quest, will get you like four times or so the piety points. Then use heavy corpses, the heavier they are, the more points you get. Keep them in your 4th-dimension storage space as you collect them (or ice cooler). Big Daddy, Dragon, Tyrannosaurus, etc. corpses are all great. Especially Cloud Monsters that have 100 pt weight.

The +10 gear will help but also keep an eye for stuff that has resists as it's probably magic and elemental attacks that will kill her often later. If you find stronger stuff for your character consider giving your pet the hand me downs. The god reward weapons are good for pets They provide decent damage and also provide some resists. If you're not doing so already, leash your pets so they don't travel too far off and get themselves killed. Also, get a way to heal your pet either through first aid kits, healing rain spell, or whatever.

Beginning game they're awesome, mid game they're meh as they'll be having to shelve a lot of goodies they find(probably depressing for them), but by end game they're just as good as any race since they probably have been stocking up on flying scrolls and have the means to get more. They just use those scrolls to lighten everything and wear anything they want. Also, if a fairy chooses to go down the wizard path they really don't need much in the way of gear as spells can carry them pretty far. If all else fails, a fairy can hide behind his/her big burly pet until the bully leaves or is a blood smear on the wall.

Did you actually enter the border from south Tyris' side? It doesn't get added until you do. Also the only locations for return in ST are the border, remhido, the ancient garden (mostly for Irva traveling) and the mansion.
And the mansion costs 2M, iirc.

Having more than 13 limbs of any kind reduces your speed by a certain percentage.

Thanks. The people in the previous thread had pretty impressive stats too especially that grind god danger zone. I've been putting off grinding normal attributes and dungeon diving and have instead been focusing on growing out my mana attribute. All I've been doing is gardening, shopping for scrolls, and party quests.
For the party quests I usually kill everyone off except named NPCs for their score multipliers. When there's 10 minutes remaining for the party I create a box, spam summon spirit, then use alchemy rain with a love potion to get them added to my score. Since I summon high level spirits they add a lot to that score. I usually make 90k to 100k tickets for each party. I can earn a whole more than this if I summon a god in the mix but that's a rarity due to lack of wishes on my part. I then go to Stoke in South Tyris and trade the tickets for magic fruit.
After I cap my magic attribute I'll begin doing my life attribute. So yeah, the magic fruit is why my mp is in the millions. That and my levels have helped.

It's kinda creepy every time I think about what I'm doing. I go in there, start shooting up the place until the whole ball room is a red mess, then I go about my necromancy raising the spirits of all the people I've killed which I then douse in "happy gas". At party end the maids, butlers, and clean up crew get there to see dead bodies everywhere and are scared shitless. Meanwhile the VIPs are laughing up a storm saying "Best Party EVA!" and I get glowing reviews.

Anything dropped during the party you're going to want to swoop in and grab before the party ends. If you have a lot of speed on your character you have quite a bit of time on your hands. The reason to kill off any non named NPC is to make room for the spirits. Only thing I'm picking up after the party is my reward after I talk to the NPC that gave me the quest.

Also to get a ton of tickets you need really high level spirits meaning you need a really high level summon spirit spell. I'm talking like lv 300ish or higher. Before this point, you're probably best off not killing anyone and performing for everyone. If you have pets ensemble is the easiest way to impress people at the party.

Had a pretty slow start as a Juere-Warrior, but doesn't come anywhere near as bad as my first Yerles-Warrior whose permanently locked up in karma hell. Was actually on the verge of quitting until I took another shot as the Juere purely for the digestion bonus. But still, shit got pretty hairy once I started dungeon diving after finishing up quests, which led to going kinda overboard on the pets for safety. And so for a large remainder of the game I maintained a miniature army of 13 pets just mangling up shit like some retarded sprite-cluster lawn mower.

I wouldn't worry bout it too much, his stats are actually pretty nuts for even maybe level 200. I'm assuming he used alot of herbed herbs to get that, and primarily worked on his stats more than exp or whatnot. Also that playtime.
